LON was founded in 1992 and has headquarters in Kranj. Kranj is the fourth most populated city in Slovenia and is located 30-minute car drive away from the capital Ljubljana. There are 12 LON branches throughout Slovenia.

We are very proud of 17.600 happy people we call our clients and 4.150 successful business stories. Our team of 115 employees is giving their best to develop outstanding offer and make our clients happy. As of September 30, 2018, our total assets account for 261.086 thousand EUR, while the total equity is 18.712 thousand EUR. License

LON has a license for banking services and other financial services issued by Bank of Slovenia. The license is through the full time membership of Slovenia valid throughout the European Union. 

Deposit Guarantee: EUR 100,000

Lon Bank participates in the Slovenian Deposit Guarantee Scheme, which covers a deposit of up to €100,000 per depositor per bank.
The deposit guarantee scheme compensates for the bank's inability to repay the depositor's deposit. All credit institutions and banks operating in Slovenia are obliged to participate in the Slovenia Deposit Guarantee Scheme to protect the deposits of customers.
